How was your experience during your internship at Delta Source and what did you learn from it?

Anton:
“The internship at Delta Source was an incredible opportunity to take my first steps on the career ladder. In just one month, I learned more than I ever expected. Not only did I sharpen my technical skills and deepen my understanding of Java and object-oriented programming, but I also honed my teamwork, problem-solving, and presentation abilities. It was an invaluable experience that contributed to both my personal and professional growth.”

Stoyan:
“A whole new world opened up for me. I’d never been in a company where there were so many smiling, cheerful people, yet professionalism was always at the forefront. I learned that going to work could actually be enjoyable — something completely new to me. I also discovered the importance of best practices and striving for continuous improvement every day.”

How did the team support you during your internship and what role did they play in your development?

Mihaela:
“The team at Delta Source was incredibly friendly and supportive. There was always someone ready to help whenever I had questions, making me feel confident and comfortable. They guided us through real-world working processes during daily meetings and regularly reviewed our code, providing valuable feedback.”

Kristina:
“Working alongside five other interns meant that we were constantly sharing ideas, helping each other solve problems, and learning together. Our mentors were always available to guide us—whether it was through code reviews, feedback sessions, or simply answering our endless questions.”

What did you find most interesting or exciting about the work you were involved in at Delta Source?

Kristina:
“Definitely the demos! Those were always exciting and engaging.”

Stoyan:
“Honestly, the right question should have been ‘What did we not like?’ because there was so much to enjoy about the work. It’s hard to pick just one thing!”

Mihaela:
“For me, the most exciting part was definitely the projects we developed. They were challenging, but I loved the sense of accomplishment when we completed them.”

Anton:
“One of the most interesting parts was the quiz during our daily meetings. We tackled tough Java questions from the OCA certificate exam. These questions were challenging, but they introduced me to concepts I had never encountered before, which was exciting!”

How Would You Describe the Company Culture at Delta Source, and How Did It Make You Feel as an Intern?

“The culture felt like this: ‘There’s work to be done, but don’t worry, we’re family, and we’ll always help you.’ This was the first company where work felt more like a shared, enjoyable experience rather than just a job. There’s a constant positive energy that makes you look forward to every day.”
